Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s historic visit to Phaltan on 23 April 1939 laid the foundation for this movement. His address at the Untouchable Praja Parishad inspired generations with the values of self-respect, education, and social transformation.

This moment gave birth to the concept of “BHIMSFURTI” (Inspiration from Ambedkar).
