Indian Mastiff has been a trusted guardian for centuries, renowned for its power, intelligence, and unwavering loyalty. Historically, prized by Persian aristocracy, marched into battle by Assyrian kings.
Our own Indian Mastiff, legendary ASUR, India’s first police dog, served at Kalamba Jail, Maharashtra, for three years. His bloodline continues through his sons TOBBY, TOFU and daughters SIMI & LAILA.
King Edward, then Prince of Wales, owned an Indian Mastiff named Ranee, who won Best Mastiff at the 1864 Islington Dog Show in London—a testament to the breed’s unmatched quality.
Despite its illustrious history, the Indian Mastiff remains underrecognized today due to misinterpretation and blending with the Tibetan Mastiff. lets correct this oversight and secure its rightful status.
